Molyneux Problem, Lost Keys (1998)

Molyneux problem was a philosophical question which asked the following: If a person born blind later regains his or her vision will he or she be able to see. When I was at the McDowell Artist in Residency I would always lose my keys. One day I decided to video tape the act of trying to find my keys. The camera became part of the sensorial perceptual apparatus with which I searched for my keys. I repeated this performance many times one of which is shown here.
